Stewart Buck began prison ministry in 1989 by leading weekly recovery meetings in the prisons around the Baton Rouge, LA vicinity.

In 2006 Stewart was inspired with a vision to expand his ministry into what has become the Center for Prisoner Renewal (CPR).

In 2017 he retired from his professional career to begin full-time ministry and establish CPR.
